Unreadable Ideas
I've had a brainwave. I'm writing in the dark, and I can't see the lines and have no idea how to word it, but "My art is in the performance." So what about if I capture the images I want viewers to 'perceive' but video the characters I have created. Like... Red running about after the wolf and catching him. Just a 2 or 3 minute video, but images so viewers initially 'try' and perceive what they are trying to convey. Then the video to show exactly what the role reversal means.

Forests, Cakes and Brainwaves
So. I have had quite a productive day. Well, week for that matter. I have figured out a lot of ideas about my traditional tales idea, seeing that the tales we know now are nothing whatsoever like they were when and where they originated. My photgraphs of my forests and cakes are above. My brainwave (left) is written in writing that you may not be able to read, but I worte it in the dark and will post a typed version in another post.
I am taking a trip to Laaahndan on Monday to visit as many galleries as I ultimately can. Wish me luck!

Dina Goldstein.. The Major Artist Link
Dina Goldstein (http://www.dinagoldstein.com/) did a series of photographs that represent the typical fairy tale characters, but with lifestyles and ailments that affect the modern woman. My views on the pictures are as follows;
1. Snowy - Snow White finally marries the Prince who turns out to be a typical male
2. Rapunzel - Has Cancer, so chemotherapy has given her hair loss
3. Belle - Belle, who falls for 'the Beast' has image issues.. With herself, so gets cosmetic surgery
4. Cinder - Cinderella, the drab, lowly daughter now treats people as she was once treated
This is similar to what I want to capture.. Different views of typical characters.

Sketchbook Inspiration
I would love if my sketchbook was this fat and educational this year. This is my sketchbook 'role model.'

Fun times.
As you may be able to tell, I get so bored with one layout.. I keep chopping and changing. So heres a new one I changed the colours and fonts, then created a header in Photoshop and wrote my what I wanted on it, then went on tinypic.com and searched for Facebook and Twitter logos, which I linked to my sites etc.
Anyway, I think I keep writing far too much. So I'll let my pictures speak for themselves today.
